Laundry Basket Terms of Service

By using any services provided by Laundry Basket (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Customer”) agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, as they govern your use of our self-service, drop-off, and delivery laundry services.

1. General Agreement

This agreement is solely between Laundry Basket and you, the Customer. It does not create any rights or responsibilities for third parties. Your use of our services signifies your acceptance of these terms.

2. Garment Care and Handling

• We take great pride in providing quality laundry service, and we strive to handle all garments with care.
   
• Our wash-and-fold services are priced by weight. We do not perform itemized counts unless otherwise arranged in advance.
   
• Due to time constraints, we may not be able to read and follow all manufacturer care labels.
   
• Laundry Basket is not responsible for:
  • Normal wear and tear, shrinkage, color bleeding, or fading.
  • Items that require “special care,” including delicate or dry-clean-only garments.
  • Removal of all stains, though we do our best to treat visible ones.
  • Personal items left in pockets or bags (e.g., cash, keys, earbuds, jewelry, pens, etc.).
     
• We reserve the right to refuse to clean any item at our discretion.  All sales are final.
   
• Please check all garments and remove personal belongings before drop-off or pickup.
   

3. Lost or Damaged Items

• If you believe an item was lost or damaged during service, you must report it within 3 business days of receiving your laundry. Reports made after this window may not be honored.
   
• Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
   

4. Disclaimer of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Laundry Basket’s liability is strictly limited to general monetary damages not exceeding the cost of the affected service.
   
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.
   
• All services are provided “as is,” with no warranties express or implied.
   

5. Entire Agreement and Governing Law

These Terms of Service represent the full agreement between Laundry Basket and the Customer and may not be amended except in writing signed by both parties.  This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, where Laundry Basket operates.  If you have any questions about these terms or your service, feel free to reach out to our team.
